This lesson was never supposed to happen - but I’m so glad it did because look at these results! 😍

I arrived to one of our schools and had forgotten to bring the work that students had started the week before. With 15 minutes before 27 students were to arrive, I could have gone into full-blown panic mode but instead I just took a deep breath and asked myself what could we do that works for a group from Kindy-year 6. The answer - @silberzweig.art inspired portraits.

This was definitely an ‘off the cuff’ lesson but luckily I knew enough about her art and beautiful style so I just winged it!

Such beautiful art by beautiful little people. Plus I was so happy with the results that we did the lesson in our studio class too (but more more planned out this time 😉
